Give Help

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.

Below are the current volunteer vacancies:

Clothes Bank
We have recently begun a Kid’s Clothes Bank as an extension of our work at Foodbank. It is held at the same premises as the Foodbank and is on a Tuesday between 11 and 3.
The Clothes Bank is a relatively new project and  we are looking for a team of reliable volunteers who are available at least twice a month on a Tuesday between 11 and 3 to help with this.
Tasks would include:
-supervising the Clothes Bank
-Speaking to clients and helping them to choose clothes for their children
– Processing vouchers
-Sorting clothes and managing stock

If you are interested in volunteering please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you! You would need to be aged 18 or over and available on Tuesdays during the day.
